Woof woof Deb... I love you
Testimonials
I have had the pleasure of participating in Deb’s dog training sessions both in the one on one format and as part of a group. Both types of sessions are amazing and take the dog owner to a much deeper level with their dog than any other training I have encountered.
The sessions are so simple and yet totally profound. As we walk with our dog we are encouraged to tune into ourselves at a deep level and observe how our dog responds. Then this reflection from our dog serves as feedback to then take us even deeper within ourselves. The connection with our dog that arises from this process is just gorgeous and so moving.
In group sessions we get to experience the quality of energy that our dog is offering other dogs and other people. We can observe how we are and how our dog is as part of a group. Again, there is much to learn here that can be applied to everyday life not just to walking a dog!
Deb is amazing with both people and dogs, offering a deep, intuitive insight into the nature of the connection between dog and human and unfolding the healing potential of this bond. I was surprised and moved by the experience and continue to unfold the healing offered by Deb now as I continue to enjoy my daily walks with Gracie my dog.

By working with Deb and Harmony 4 Dogs my relationship with my dog Pinto has shifted 180 degrees from one of ‘managing’ his behaviour, to a relationship of deep connection between human and dog.
Retrieving a ball used to be one of his favourite things, or so I thought, until I recognised I was actually controlling him with the object. Now without the obsession, hyper-excitement and frenzy of ball chasing, his true character of pure joy has been allowed to re-emerge. The transformation I’ve observed in him has supported me to be more present and trusting with myself to feel into what he needs and read his natural cues, and has also been like a mirror of reflection offering insight into all of my other relationships (with humans).
I definitely got more than I bargained for, and I am truly appreciative of Deb and the service she offers for this gift she has shared with Pinto and I.

I LOVE attending Debs’ Harmony 4 Dogs classes on a regular basis because I get so much out of them. I am a young woman and I have a large powerful breed of dog (Dobermann). I’ve come to experience that so much of what goes on for me personally gets reflected in my dogs’ behaviour, so attending Debs’ classes helps me to understand, clearly and with the help of my dog, what is happening for me. When I get that first step, ie the understanding, the relationship with my dog grows. It’s brilliant!

Afraid of dogs, Dean Pirera decided to book a session with Deb.
Thank you for the opportunity the other day to see you and Enid. It was very special. I look at dogs differently now and for that matter, my self. The session helped me way beyond what I had expected and changed me in ways I didn’t think would happen. Many thanks. Dean Pirera, Lismore, NSW |
Six weeks ago I consulted Deb McBride about my 2 year old black lab 'Betty'. Betty's medical history was long and dramatic. She's a regular at the vet with a large range of illnesses including broken knee cap, bradycardia and arrythmia, numerous skin complaints and most recently her immune system almost shut down with severe vomiting, diarrhoea, peitichial rash and oedema. I've spent almost $5000 on vet bills in the past 2 years, never having a diagnosis. The most recent trip to the vet was the same time I contacted Deb. On the same day I consulted Deb, Betty's blood tests were due back from the veterinary specialist. Deb emailed me during the day and advised me to change Betty's diet to the 'raw food diet' and basically said that Betty had a really low immune system. Five hours after Deb emailed me the specialist called with Betty's blood results and the most amazing thing was that the vet couldn't tell me anymore than Deb did. Betty has a really low immune system and the advice of the vet was to change her diet to a 'premium dog food', which she has been on for the past 2 years with obviously no effect. Since I have had Betty on the raw food diet, as recommended by Deb, she has been more alert, active and healthy and more importantly Betty has not been back to the vet. She no longer is suffering from any of her usual (weekly) ailments. Betty thanks Deb and so do I!

Recently I felt to invite my sister and her two dogs to share a dog session supported by Deb. I don't have a dog of my own but have spent time looking after one of my sisters dogs and in that time we have created a special bond. With no outcome in mind I felt it would be a lovely way to spend time with my sister and her dogs. The time unfolded with Deb offering what could be felt in the relationship between my sister and her dogs, by observing their behaviour and the way they walked together. The offering included an understanding and a deepening of their relationship and connection with each other. Then the four of us walked together and through the walk my sister took my hand and held it.
At the end my sister was sharing what she got out of the time together and what was revealed. Then she asked me what I got out of it, and my response was she and I connecting deeply. As she was able to open up/drop her guard to her dogs and just be with them, this automatically flowed between us and we where both able to simply be our natural selves and truly enjoy just being together. Since then there is a more natural acceptance of each other for who we truly are.
Simple and beautiful, thank you Deb.
